There's something so fitting about celebrating a school counseling degree in a garden (especially Reynolda Gardens) - a place built for growth, patience, and things that take time to bloom.
Jasmine earned her school counselor degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, completing the entire graduate program online. That's no small thing - it takes a lot of discipline to graduate from an online program. There are no fun school activities, college roommates to encourage you - it’s just pure focus and work. She did it anyway, and this fall she'll be achieving her dream of walking into a school as a counselor ready to help her students.
So when it came time to celebrate, Jasmine chose Reynolda Gardens here in Winston-Salem (and you may be wondering why). She flew all the way to Winston-Salem, NC to see her sister and decided to reward her achievement with a graduation session at Reynolda Gardens! Between the historic greenhouses, the beautiful garden paths, and the light filtering through all of the trees, it's one of those spots that feels like it was made for exactly this kind of big milestone.
Her sister came along for the session, and honestly, that made it even sweeter. There's a different kind of ease that shows up in photos when you've got someone who knows you in the room and knows how to help you laugh, relax, and have fun.
